Sorry, guys, I took down my post from yesterday... I've been feeling bad about it... maybe I was out of line a bit. Zeke said I wasn't being very thoughtful... he's probably right. I didn't mean any harm. I thought it was funny, but I can see how it might be hurtful. However, I'm still totally weirded out by the whole thing... thanks for your comments. I'm going to edit it and repost it later.
Today I went on a field trip with Beck's preschool to McDonald's.... I need a nap.
I won't get one though. I'm pretty sure I'll end up watching "Bob the Builder and the Legend of the Golden Hammer" again. (with Beck of course) Oh boy!
Glad you clarified that "with Beck". Heh.
ReplyDeleteThoughtless? Perhaps. All true. Yes. :)
Yeah, Bob the Builder is my secret obsession -- I just use Beck as a cover.
DeleteSeriously, would YOU post it?
Yes. I would have posted it. Because it's FUNNY. And weird. And just...funny. But I'm also not a very nice person, as you know, so...But I'm also trying to figure out a polite way to blog about a certain issue I ranted about on Tuesday and not offend, so maybe I'm not your best barometer!
DeleteI totally missed the post and it tells a little bit about myself that I so wish I had seen it...I can't picture you being thoughtless. Don't you like how I say that as if we knew each other in person not just in the blog world? :) I am sure whatever you wrote was because you were provoked and it was totally justifiable. (In my mind I am making it a much bigger deal than it probably is...) Whenever I use the word provoked I think of You've Got Mail. Funny how the mind works isn't it? Don't feel bad about your post-we all know how nice you are. :)
ReplyDeleteI was provoked!! oh, how I love that movie :)
DeleteI was pretty much telling weird stories about unnamed friends... and then, my husband pointed out it wasn't that nice.... I don't know.
I meant justified not justifiable...That totally changes the meaning of what I was trying to say...This is why I should proof read things...
ReplyDeleteI LOVED your post and I'm glad I didn't make the list. Hi, I don't know you, I stalk your blog and I want to sleep at your house please. May I bring my children and my sister? gracias.
ReplyDeleteps, Ken and I are so going to Disneyland with out our children, but we aren't rooming with our bffs.
Oh yeah... for some reason, that didn't weird me out... You're like family!!! :)
DeleteDang, I miss one day and it happens to be "contriversial". I am like Carrie and now I really want to know what it was! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you didn't get too many flamers, they are tough to take.
Yes, I was just telling weird stories about unnamed friends... and then I kinda felt bad.
Deleteyep, pretty much. The playland was packed and LOUD, but I think they had fun :)
